I am a Bay Area native, born on the Presidio in San Francisco, and grew up in Berkeley. I spent wonderful childhood summers in the Central Valley on my grandfather's vineyards, learning how to tend the vines, and understanding what it takes to produce a good harvest.

As a young adult I first managed a small business my parents owned, and later took over ownership. For 18 years I learned that true success came from placing the client first, and listening for and addressing their unspoken concerns. I closed the business in order to complete my degree at UC Berkeley in the history of art, with an emphasis on the history and evolution of domestic architecture.

I became a REALTOR® in 1999 to combine my love of homes and my passion for helping clients. I have served on the board of the Oakland Association of Realtors, including a year as its President. I now serve at the State level as a Regional Chair of the California Association of Realtors. I am an active full-time REALTOR® with my partner Rob Jones, serving clients in Sonoma and Napa wine country.

I am also an accomplished California landscape painter and photographer.

I am a native New Englander. Before heading West, I earned a BA at the University of Connecticut, and a Masters in counseling at Duke University Divinity School. I lived in the southern New Mexico desert for a few years after grad school, building custom cabinetry and furniture for high end homes. This sparked a life-long love of domestic architecture, and all the unique things that make a house a home.

Coming to California in 1986, I leveraged my academics and training in counseling - and attention to fine detail - into a successful career as a business analyst consultant for 20 years, working for major corporations such as Charles Schwab, Visa, Merrill Lynch, and Wells Fargo. While the business was finance and technology, the work was in negotiation, attention to written detail, and overcoming obstacles to bring the client to a successful conclusion with a win for all parties involved.

I retired from corporate engagements in order to find a different balance in my life, and entered the real estate field, working first as a CREIA-certified home inspector before joining my partner David Kerr as a REALTOR®, working full time in Sonoma and Napa counties. My life-long skills and talents are all put to good use in exciting new ways, to ensure clients are able to achieve their dreams of buying and selling homes.

I am also a published poet and author in the field of religious studies.

We live in the city of Sonoma with our two rescue cats and giant rescue dog. We recently celebrated our 24th anniversary.
